We sing from down deep in our hearts because: In the Bible we read, "O come let us
sing unto the Lord … make a joyful noise to the rock of our Salvation." (Psalm 95:1).
We clap our hands because: In the Bible we read, "O clap your hands, all ye people;
shout unto God with the voice of triumph." (Psalm 47:1).
We all pray together because: In the Bible we read, "These all continued with one
accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and
with his brethren." (Acts 1:14)
We praise God aloud because: In the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in the
sanctuary, and bless the Lord." (Psalm 134:2).
We dance before the LORD because in the Bible we read, "Praise Him with the
timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs" (Psalm 150:4).
We lift our hands in praise because in the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in the
sanctuary, and bless the Lord" (Psalm 134:2).
We testify publicly because, In the Bible we read, "Also I say unto you, Whosoever
shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels
of God." (Luke 12:8)
We anoint with oil for divine healing because in the Bible we read, "Is any sick among
you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him
with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14).
We speak in other tongues because: In the Bible we read, "And they were all filled with
the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance." (Acts 2:4).
We allow the operation of the spiritual gifts because in the Bible we read, "When ye
come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a
revelation, hath an interpretation" (1 Corinthians 14:26).

- We baptize in Jesus Name because: In the Bible we read, "Then Peter said
unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy
Ghost." (Acts 2:38).
- We believe in receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost because: In the Bible
we read, "He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire…"
(Matthew 3:11).
- We believe in the significance and necessity of being born of water and
Spirit because: In the Bible we read, "Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God …" (John 3:5) (See also
Acts 1:8; Roman 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:11).
- We believe in the second coming of Christ because: In the Bible we read,
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God
and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" (Titus 2:13; also see Revelation 1:7; 19:11-
16; 22:20)
